The Arc Mid-Hudson serves 1,800 people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Greene, Putnam and Ulster Counties. We provide supports to 19 Day Habilitation Programs, Community Habilitation Programs, School To Work and Enrich Programs, and 42 residential homes and apartments that people we support live in.

Our Direct Support Staff (DSP) care for people we support with disabilities 24 hours a day.
They are truly essential employees!
The people we support depend on our DSP’s to help with their everyday life. This includes assisting in meal preparation, giving medications, providing help and learning throughout the day, shopping, banking and also bathing. Unfortunately, some people we support typically do not follow social distancing and other preventative measures outlined by the CDC. Some individuals who we support tend to put their hands to their face and mouth and touch things around the home. Our staff are very dependent on Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for their own protection.
The support of our community is truly critical at this time. If you are interested in making a donation to The Arc Mid-Hudson COVID-19 Relief Fund, please refer to the links below, which detail how you can help.
