Foundation Board Approves $30,000 Grant for New Deck and Awning at Rousner Residence
September 19, 2018
The Board of Directors of The Arc of Ulster-Greene Foundation has approved the funding for a new deck, ramp, and awning for the people living at the Rousner residence. The Foundation Board is committed to supporting projects that improve the quality of life for the people supported by The Arc of Ulster-Greene. After reviewing six capital improvement grant applications, the Foundation board chose this year’s project for the New Paltz Rousner home. The funds will cover the costs of replacing the ramp and deck, and also installing a retractable awning to provide shade on hot summer days and dry coverage when it rains. Construction for this project is scheduled to begin in late Spring of 2018.
